Data controller Agentis ehf., based in Iceland, is the data controller for personal data processed when you use Vissar. Contact privacy@agentis.is for any privacy-related questions.

Information we collect We collect your name, email address, the URLs you choose to monitor, your agent instructions, page snapshots and extracts from monitored sites, as well as technical usage data (IP address, browser, timestamps).

Purpose of processing Data is used to provide the monitoring service, deliver notifications when criteria are met, run AI analysis on captured content, and improve the service. The legal basis is performance of contract and legitimate interests under Iceland's Data Protection Act No. 90/2018 and the GDPR.

Third-party processors We use the following subprocessors: Anthropic, OpenAI and Google (AI analysis), Jina AI (web scraping), and an email delivery provider (notifications). These processors only handle data under our instructions and appropriate data processing agreements.

Data retention Account data is kept while your account is active. Page snapshots and reports are retained for up to 12 months. After account deletion, data is removed within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.

Your GDPR rights You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, request data portability and object to processing of your personal data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority (personuvernd.is). Submit requests to privacy@agentis.is.

Cookies We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and core functionality. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Service description Vissar is an automated web monitoring service that watches websites and notifies users when specific conditions are met. The service is offered on a subscription basis.

Account and user responsibilities You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Acceptable use You may not use Vissar to monitor illegal content, infringe copyright, circumvent site security measures, or run volumes that would harm target servers. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Service availability While the service is in beta, no SLA is guaranteed. We aim to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime.

Intellectual property All software, design, and content related to Vissar is owned by Agentis ehf. You retain ownership of your own instructions and data.

Limitation of liability Agentis ehf. is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or lost data arising from use or inability to use the service. Total liability is limited to the amount of subscription fees paid in the last 12 months.

Termination You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscription tiers Vissar offers three tiers: Free ($0, 2 agents), Pro ($19/month, 10 agents), and Business ($69/month, 25 agents). See the signup page for feature details.

Billing cycle Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by credit card.

Payment processing Payments are handled by a secure payment processor. Vissar does not store card numbers on its own systems.

Cancellation and refunds You can cancel your subscription at any time in settings. Access continues through the end of the current billing period. Partial refunds are generally not offered unless required by law.

Tier changes Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Auto-renewal Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Price changes We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
